It is very difficult to make everybody change completely, but it will help if as many as possible take small steps in the right direction. <br /><br />This autumn I have had good experiences with taking the night train to Stavanger and Bergen instead of morning flights. Instead of waking up at 5 in the morning to catch the plane, I can go down to the station in the evening and wake up downtown Bergen or Stavanger the next morning. NSB, the train operator, offers free internet access so I usually spend a couple of hours with a cup of tea or a glass of wine with my laptop in the cafe coach before I go to sleep.
